The cottage is beautifully designed, featuring 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests. On the main level, you'll find ample family space, including a spacious, fully stocked kitchen perfect for preparing meals, a cozy den with a pullout sofa, and a convenient half bath.

Dining options abound nearby, with the Sassy Bass restaurant located right next door at the Plantation complex. A short drive down Fort Morgan will take you to other Sassy Bass locations, offering a variety of cuisines from seafood to BBQ and pizza. Tacky Jacks, a local favorite, is just a 10-minute drive in one direction, while the new Jesses On The Bay is 10 minutes in the other direction. For your convenience, there are also a few smaller grocery stores nearby, so you can pick up most anything you need without the hassle of driving back into town.

If you have time, consider taking the ferry over to Dauphin Island or exploring the historic fort built in 1834. For families with small children, Big Blue Cottage is well-equipped with a baby gate for the stairs, a booster seat, and a pack 'n play, making it an ideal choice for a family vacation.
