Thanksgiving in Gulf Shores

November 22, 2021

Fall in Gulf Shores is an attractive destination for travelers. With some time off for the Thanksgiving holiday it offers a great spot to get away with the family without the stress of having guests over to the house. Many of our rental units are large enough to accommodate a large family trip and offer all of the amenities of home, but located on the beach.  The crowds have died down and the temperatures and weather are cooler, mild and perfect for a vacation to our white sands spot on the Gulf Coast. Check out our top 5 things to do on Alabama’s Gulf Shores and plan your trip to visit us for your holiday trip.

1. Play a Local Golf Course

The Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area offer some of the top rated golf courses in the area and the nation. The golfer in your family will enjoy courses like Kiva Dunes and the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club. A perfect rest from the family, the club swinger in your group can get away from the family for a morning or afternoon and shoot for that eagle or hole in one at these well known and well groomed golf courses. Treat the patriarch of the family and perhaps he’ll just pump out a great Thanksgiving from one of our vacation rentals with a kitchen included!

2. Shop Till You Drop!

3. Cook A Thanksgiving Feast

Many of our vacation rental homes, especially the larger ones, are perfect for a family vacation trip and include a kitchen with all the features of home. If the cooks of your family want to shop locally and cook the family a home made Thanksgiving dinner, they will find everything they need in the stocked kitchen that comes with your rental unit. Get those family recipes ready and sit down with the whole group and celebrate the holiday in style, then head down to the beach to watch the sunset!

4. Pamper Yourself

While on a vacation, relaxation is key. What better way to relax than to pamper yourself with a spa day or a massage. From pedicures and manicures to facials and massages, there are plenty of options along the Alabama Gulf Shores area to pamper yourself and relax. Ocean Nails and Spa, Eden Spa & Salon LLC are great for cosmetic services and Austin Massage and Hands On Healing are waiting to pamper you with a massage.
